In a significant diplomatic engagement, Dr. Amir Heshmati, Culture Attaché of the Iranian Embassy in Ghana, today visited Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, to discuss enhancing bilateral relations through cultural cooperation. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in leveraging cultural exchange.
The discussions centred on exploring avenues for collaboration between Ghana and Iran, focusing on cultural exchange programs and shared heritage projects.
Both parties expressed commitment to facilitating artist residencies, cultural festivals and academic exchanges to deepen mutual understanding and appreciation of each other’s cultures.
